Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions in Herndon, VA is seeking a Personnel Security Administrator at a mid level with TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) to perform foundational security duties with growing independence. Responsibilities include biometric data capture, SOP development, and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience or a high school diploma with 5+ years, plus broad policy knowledge and a working understanding of federal clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Broad experience with personnel security policies, practices, and compartmented programs.
• Strong understanding of federal rules and regulations governing the clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain case initiation (8/day) and file destruction (60 linear feet/month) standards.
• Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for core areas of responsibility.
• Support biometric activities, including fingerprinting and data capture as needed.
• Apply NARA guidelines to archive and destruction of personnel security files.
• Coach and mentor Developmental level personnel and assist in training materials.
• Submit accurate monthly and ad-hoc statistics regarding completion activities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years of experience

High School Diploma/GED + 5 years of relevant experience
