Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions in Herndon, VA is seeking a Mid-level Personnel Security Analyst / Adjudicator with TS/SCI and Full Scope Polygraph to manage complex adjudication workflows and provide expert support across the clearance process.

You will handle up to 80 cases, prepare Statements of Reasons, support appeals, mentor teammates, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure accurate final determinations for sensitive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills required.
• Experience with adjudicative processes and security policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Case Management: manage a caseload of over 80 cases in parallel stages of processing.
• Adjudicative Actions: prepare Statements of Reasons and investigations files.
• Appeals Support: conduct personal appearances for appellants.
• Collaborative Interviews: partner with SMEs to clarify facts for final adjudication.
• Mentorship: train new team members and junior staff.
• Educational/Experience requirements: bachelor’s degree + 3 years or high school diploma + 5 years in relevant fields.
• Security Expertise: experience in compartmented programs and clearance divisions.
• Analytical Depth: handle large workloads with integrity.
• Communication: strong writing and briefing skills for final reports.
