Job summary

Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to conduct technical risk assessments and provide mitigation guidance for IT systems and networks, including cloud and VDI components. The role requires on-site work in Chantilly, VA, and adherence to stringent security clearance obligations.

The ideal candidate will manage firewall policies, VPNs, and zero-trust architectures, while developing automation scripts to streamline security and system management tasks across Windows and Linux

Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS).
• Hands-on experience with firewall administration, Network Access Control, and Access Controls.
• Experience with VPN tunneling.
• Experience with endpoint security and mobile emulation environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical risk analyses of IT systems and networks, including mobile, wireless, cloud, and data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain online infrastructure, perform data extraction, web development, and software coding as part of risk assessments.
• Manage security and performance of VDI environments; enforce firewall policies, VPNs, segmentation, and endpoint policy enforcement.
• Design, deploy and optimize a VMware Horizon-based VDI environment, including golden image management and GPU virtualization.
