Zohorecruit in Columbia, MD is seeking a Network Engineer (Level 0) with an active TS/SCI clearance and a current polygraph. You will maintain and troubleshoot existing networks, monitor systems, and perform routine maintenance to ensure network integrity and security.

Responsibilities include monitoring networks, performing first/second-level problem resolution, coordinating with vendors, and operating network analyzers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
• Associate degree in engineering technology plus two years of related experience, or four years total in lieu of the degree.
• Experience installing and configuring network devices (firewalls, switches, routers, cabling) on Cisco/Brocade/Juniper.
• Experience with Type-1 encryptors and inline network encryptors (e.g., TACLANES, KG-175).
• Familiarity with MPLS, BGP, and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data and voice system networks for alarms and issue resolution; escalate as needed.
• Execute scheduled maintenance and manage network line activation/deactivation.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues using predefined scripts; document results.
• Interface with users and network vendors to resolve issues.
• Operate network analyzers and WAN test equipment to support diagnostics.
