Job summary

Jovian Concepts, LLC is seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer in the Annapolis Junction area to design, implement, maintain, and upgrade secure networks across multiple sites. The role emphasizes optimizing performance, coordinating with users, and ensuring compliance with DoD/IC standards.

The ideal candidate has a current TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph, strong Cisco/Arista experience, and a track record of supporting large-scale telecommunications and network modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required for the role.
• Six years of network engineering experience with related DoD/IC context preferred.
• Strong Cisco and Arista configuration experience; familiarity with STE/STN/SSP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and upgrade complex networks from LAN to WAN.
• Configure and optimize network devices and interfaces for performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with sites to resolve network incidents and support mission architectures.
• Oversee data captures, latency reduction, and throughput improvements.
• Provide guidance to junior Network Engineers and ensure ISO 9000 / DoD/IC compliance.
