Job summary

Emtakllc is seeking a Network Engineer L2 to support end-to-end network operations in a TS/SCI environment. The role focuses on design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of enterprise networks, with emphasis on secure, scalable solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with L2/L3 networking, VPNs, QoS, and network troubleshooting, and possesses Cisco and Arista expertise, along with a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• ND or BS with several years of relevant networking experience required.
• Cisco certification required and preferred security-focused background.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and upgrade enterprise networks.
• Analyze network designs and engineering documents for reliability.
• Administer LAN/CAN/WAN and security controls.
• Coordinate migrations and cutovers; resolve incidents with stakeholders.
• Translate mission requirements into telecommunications solutions.
• Support modernization initiatives and technology refresh efforts.
