Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area, delivering leading-edge IT solutions as a consultant. The role covers architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, and network security for a global enterprise, including hybrid cloud transitions for legacy applications.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of IT experience (11 years can substitute for a degree), an active IAT Level II or higher

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, 6+ years IT experience, or 11+ years IT experience in lieu of degree.
Active DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+) required.
Experience in two or more areas such as network troubleshooting, routers/switches, Cisco IOS/Junos OS, firewalls, hubs/bridges/gateways, network packet analysis, or database tools.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

Consult as part of a team to provide network engineering services in architecture, development, deployment, and security.
Support enterprise-wide network connectivity, modernization, and cloud transition efforts.
Provide highly technical guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.
