Bcore is seeking a Mid-level Network Engineer in Herndon, Virginia, to join a government-focused program. You will help design and implement network infrastructure, enterprise computing, and multi-cloud solutions across on-prem and cloud environments, with DevSecOps practices guiding development and operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and adherence to security standards, supporting critical mission needs for a government customer in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in systems design and engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
• Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
• Proven success as a DEVOPs systems engineer with Agile mindset.
• GitHub experience and other source control systems.
• Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements.
• Willingness to mentor and train other engineers and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Support a government customer with network infrastructure engineering and enterprise computing.
• Work on end-point devices, data center servers, and multi-cloud services.
• Develop containerized solutions with orchestrated workflows for on-premise and cloud environments.
• Ensure security and compliance across engineering activities.
