Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services is seeking an Installation Technician to support our Network Solutions Division in Northern Virginia. The role requires a current TS/SCI with Poly and involves installing cabling, configuring workstations, and traveling between customer sites.

You will work a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift as part of a coverage team with potential schedule flex. The position emphasizes adherence to design packages and strong troubleshooting of network and telecom systems.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and testing network drops with proper labeling and terminations (CAT5/CAT6).
• Knowledge of structured cabling methodologies, standards, and troubleshooting practices.
• Experience deploying IT endpoints such as desktops, printers, VOIP phones, and switches.
• Ability to diagnose hardware, network, and telecom issues and read installation packages.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate CAT5/CAT6 and fiber cabling per design packages.
• Pull cables, terminate, test, document, and maintain cable management.
• Install and configure workstations, deploy network drops per technical documentation.
• Interpret diagrams to guide and validate installation work.
