Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to administer and support the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) within the CASA Compute Environment.

The role involves managing secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters on Linux, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security for mission-critical workloads. Required: Active TS/SCI with Poly, Security+ certification, and 6+ years in a related field; 5 years may substitute a degree.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Scripting with Bash and Python.
• Containerization with Docker/Podman.
• Administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
• Troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage).
• IaC with Ansible.
• Writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm charts.
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Git for source control and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support the PaaS component of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE).
• Operate secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters on a Linux infrastructure.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance.
