Job summary

Fusion Advanced Technology, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the nation’s Intelligence Community from Fort Meade. The role emphasizes developing security policies, implementing RMF controls, and maintaining SSPs for critical information systems.

Qualified candidates hold a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification (or four years of additional cybersecurity experience in place of the

Qualifications

Current TS/SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph.
Eight+ years of security engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT Engineering; DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification, or four additional years of cybersecurity experience in lieu of the degree.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and manage system changes and security controls.
Support RMF activities: control implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
Document and track vulnerabilities, remediation plans, and POA&Ms.
Perform day-to-day security operations and ensure compliance with federal and government requirements.
Collaborate with system owners, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders to integrate security throughout the system lifecycle.
