Job summary

Power3 Solutions is seeking a talented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a premier RMF-based program in the Ft. Meade area.

This full-time role focuses on maintaining security posture, managing SSPs, and ensuring compliance with RMF and NIST 800-53. The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with polygraph, a bachelor's degree or 10 years of related experience, and strong collaboration with ISSM, system owners, and customers.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field (may substitute 4 years of experience)
• Strong working knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53 controls, and customer security requirements

Responsibilities

• Support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining operational security posture
• Own and manage multiple System Security Plans (SSPs)
• Provide technical guidance on system security matters and RMF process compliance
• Obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for supported systems
• Assist in developing and enforcing security policies across the customer environment
• Provide configuration management for hardware/software/firmware affecting security
• Communicate effectively with system owners and customers to ensure policy adherence
• Use tools such as eMASS, EXACTA, ACAS/Nessus, Trellis, Splunk, Latte Art, and ServiceNow for assessment and documentation
