Job summary

Amentum in Arlington, VA, seeks an Information Systems Watch Technician to help maintain and support our facilities’ telecommunications systems, networks, and information feeds for senior decision-support teams.

This role requires a current DoD TS/SCI clearance or CE designation, a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, and the ability to travel up to 5%. Training will be provided to master specialized responsibilities while ensuring 24/7/365 operations.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years or CE designation.
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting circuits and equipment.
• Experience making, running, testing cables, installing equipment.
• Experience using VTC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, performance and testing of IT and RF-based voice, video, data systems.
• Operate, maintain, test and troubleshoot communications systems; coordinate with third-party providers.
• Brief customers on operational status and recommended actions.
• Configure and train users on voice, video and data networks including radio and satellite systems.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer demands and drive service improvements.
