Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to support a PaaS capable environment across multiple security domains. You will work on a development team using Agile scrum, maintaining OpenShift platforms, and enabling multi-tenant deployment across cloud and datacenter resources.

You will collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams, deploying OpenShift to new sites, and integrating services like RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 5+ years of developer experience.
• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II or equivalent security certs.

Responsibilities

• O&M of OpenShift across multiple security domains in cloud and datacenter (vSphere).
• Support OpenShift operators and frameworks (Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps).
• Deploy OpenShift to new sites and scale platforms to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to understand integration needs and ensure security compliance.
• Work with Security to maintain ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
• Support data services (RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack) and compile documentation.
