General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join our trusted team supporting a top Secret/SCI program in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining a platform-as-a-service capability deployed across multiple security domains. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications, and hands-on OpenShift, Cloud, and data services experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of related experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Meet DoW 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA

Responsibilities

O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
