Job summary

The Building People seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to support a secure federal facilities O&M program in Northern Virginia. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installations across HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, CRAC units, and controls.

Daily duties include responding to service calls, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with site leadership and subcontractors to ensure mission readiness in a TS/SCI environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, or federal HVAC maintenance operations.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of HVAC/refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems and components.
• Respond to service calls and support emergency maintenance activities.
• Repair, install, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls.
• Maintain maintenance records and service call documentation.
