Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of equipment installation experience (4 years can substitute if degree not present).
• Strong organizational and communications skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic).
• Perform installation and Layer 1 support for network devices, VoIP phones, workstations and peripherals, wireless access points, and print devices.
• Install patch panels, racks, cable trays, and related hardware.
• Perform cable certification and testing using appropriate testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve physical connectivity issues.
• Read and interpret network diagrams, blueprints, and cable layouts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service work.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Provide professional communication and support to clients and internal teams.
