Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Field Engineer to support ABMS DI Processing Node work across CONUS and OCONUS. This role emphasizes rapid, secure delivery of large-scale weapon system solutions and collaboration with PMs, domain engineers, and government counterparts.

You will conduct site surveys, deployments, and documentation, travel frequently, and participate in Scrum ceremonies while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years’ field engineering experience, or Master’s with 6–10 years.
• Ability to travel to onsite installations.
• Experience with AWS, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory and Guacamole.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tool chains and technical documentation.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and working in a team.
• Strong Jira/Confluence and agile team participation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 75% to CONUS and OCONUS sites.
• Conduct site surveys, installations, and acceptance procedures.
• Coordinate with site POCs and support fielded equipment.
• Maintain skills to deploy products and handle program requests.
• Prepare logs, documents, configurations, passwords, and presentations.
• Document notes and feedback for engagements and create trip reports.
• Brief stakeholders on completed/open items and follow-up actions.
• Remain available remotely for questions and updates.
• Review Jira tasks daily and participate in Scrum meetings.
