Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with TS/SCI clearance for Hickam AFB, Hawaii. You will support ABMS DI Processing Node, collaborating with PMs, domain engineers, and Government partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions for joint warfighting systems.

The role emphasizes system health, automation, monitoring, and incident response to ensure high availability and rapid deployment of features across distributed environments.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• BS degree with 8–12 years or master’s with 6–10 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Rancher/Harvester for container orchestration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• On-call rotation ability.
• Knowledge of Cisco/Juniper, Linux CLI and logs.
• IdAM and VSAN/Cloud Storage knowledge.
• Certifications: DoD 8140 IAT II, GIAC, GICSP, SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain system health.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with development teams for feature deployments.
• Troubleshoot incidents to minimize downtime.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and drive improvements.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Document processes and procedures for future reference.
• Perform data center tasks: backups, software installs, ACAS scans, hardware upgrades, and networking troubleshooting.
