Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer - TS//SCI with CI Poly for a mission-critical government program in Herndon, VA (with potential future work in Springfield, VA). The role focuses on deployment, site support, and infrastructure initiatives within the Hedgehog Program.

The ideal candidate has active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, Security+ certification, 5+ years of DevOps experience, strong Python/Unix scripting skills, and hands-on use of Git, GitLab CI, and automation

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start.
• Security+ certification required.
• 5+ years of experience with SELinux, scripting, and configuration management.
• Strong Python, Perl, Korn Shell, Bourne/Bash, Ansible proficiency.
• Experience with version control and DevOps tools (Git, GitLab, SVN, CVS).
• Experience developing deployment automation and supporting HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, administration, and automation across Linux/Unix environments.
• Develop and maintain DevOps automation using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Assist with standing up and supporting administrative and console network infrastructure to meet ATO objectives.
• Manage source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Support HPC environments and collaborate with engineering teams for performance and readiness.
