Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite DevOps Engineer to join a government consulting firm based in Springfield, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI CI-Poly clearance and focuses on building secure cloud platforms to support intelligence workloads.

You will develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and collaborate across security, development, and operations teams to ensure robust, compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with required experience or equivalent years of work.
• Strong AWS (C2S/GovCloud), CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Linux, networking and system administration.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Hands-on OS installation, configuration and tuning.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and communicate/escalate as needed.
• Must hold an active US Government TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and maintain secure AWS GovCloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement IaC to support scalable environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, applications, and networks.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Monitor system health with CloudWatch and Kibana.
