Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer in Herndon, VA to deliver Agile DevOps support for mission-critical systems. You will develop software, manage cloud environments, and ensure secure operations across the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes design, development, testing, and deployment of customer tools within a DevOps framework. Candidates should have Java and Python experience, solid DevSecOps practices, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with CI/CD

Qualifications

Java and Python development experience.
Experience with DevSecOps practices.
Containerization knowledge (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Active TS/SCI security clearance to start.

Responsibilities

Deliver Agile DevOps support for mission-critical systems.
Develop robust software and cloud environments while overseeing operations.
Drive the full SDLC from scope and estimation to design, coding, and testing.
Provide technical expertise in design, development, implementation, and testing of tools and applications.
Lead major project deliverables within a DevOps framework.
