Job summary

IAMUS Consulting seeks a senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and automate cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for a DoD-focused environment in Augusta, GA. You will manage Linux systems, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud services, while collaborating with development teams to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required qualifications include TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, strong Linux and AWS experience, and proficiency in Terraform/Ansible. On-site work at Augusta, GA is expected.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
• 9+ years of experience in DevOps or Software Development, or 7 years with Masters, or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment/management.
• Experience deploying and managing software at scale.
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Git, Flux, and related development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of AGILE methodologies; DoD 8140/8570 compliance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Support on-prem and portable Edge infrastructure deployments.
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate apps into infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems; resolve issues.
• Continuously improve processes for high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
