Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a self‑motivated Database Administrator to join a small, capable team. The role focuses on building, maintaining, patching, and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB databases across on-premise and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of DBA experience, a technical degree, and DoD 8570.01-M IAT II level certifications, with a preference for AWS experience and scripting skills. Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is needed to apply.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years DBA experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• DoD 8570.01-M compliance with minimum IAT Level II certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MS SQL Server and MariaDB databases.
• Support on-premise and cloud-hosted databases across networks.
• Automate repetitive tasks where possible to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with a small team to support mission-critical operations.
