Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Datacenter Engineer - TS/SCI FSP to work on a federal technology program in Reston, VA. The role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure in secure environments that handle sensitive data.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data center engineering, a strong background in Linux and virtualization technologies, and must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. This is a contract-to-hire position working onsite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center engineering, network administration, or infrastructure support.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting secure network environments and systems (AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain secure data center environments across Linux, Windows, and Unix platforms.
• Perform network administration including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks including NISPOM and ICD standards.
