Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator to support a mission-focused OSINT platform for the DoD/IC, leveraging cloud computing, AI/ML, and cross-domain data transfer. The role centers on building a data-centric architecture, ETL workflows, and robust data models across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Candidates should have 8+ years of database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle, plus Security+ and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field and security clearance.
• 8+ years of database admin experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Experience scripting with CLI tools and designing schemas/data models.
• Experience on-premises and cloud database administration and monitoring.
• Experience with security controls and vulnerability POAMs.
• Certifications in Security+ and AWS Cloud Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, upgrade, and optimize databases across environments.
• Design and improve database schemas and data models for performance.
• Collaborate to define ETL processes for heterogeneous data sources.
• Define APIs, endpoints, authentication, and data formats for data sharing.
• Support CI/CD automation and deployment operations.
• Participate in daily scrums and planning sessions.
