Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to architect and implement robust cloud solutions for mission customers. The role emphasizes scalable infrastructure, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure secure, compliant delivery.

You will lead design reviews, automate deployment pipelines, and apply cloud governance across environments while staying current with evolving cloud technologies and standards.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud solution design and architecture.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Extensive experience building and leading AWS cloud infrastructure at scale across IL5 to IL6+.
• Hands-on with AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, EBS).
• IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated cloud delivery.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and IAM/SSO integrations.
• Fluency in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities
