Job summary

Base-2 Solutions in Bethesda, MD seeks a Systems Administrator to support OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform. Focus on Linux/Windows systems administration, performance optimization, and user support.

Required TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, and strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). The role is on-site with shifts and service desk coverage, involving Kubernetes, Ansible, and AWS tasks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years experience (or equivalent).
• Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows admin.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash; PowerShell desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, installations, configurations, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and enforce DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts for patching, configuration, and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Provide service desk coverage between 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday, on a rotational basis.
