Vickers and Nolan Enterprises, a government-focused engineering firm, seeks a Data Warehousing Specialist to design and implement end-to-end data solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll move data from source systems to a robust data lake and help maintain data pipelines and technical documentation.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with Kafka, Kubernetes, Java, Python, SQL, and API integration within a Data Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–15 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years designing, modifying, developing and implementing software applications using agile methods.
• Experience with Java, Python, C/C++, SQL, and web architecture.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and API development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines moving data from source systems to the data lake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for processes and data pipelines.
