Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Data Warehousing Specialist at the Journeyman level in the National Capital Region, VA. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–15 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in agile software development and data systems.

The candidate will design, modify, develop, and implement software applications using modern technologies (Kafka, Kubernetes, Java, Python, SQL, API development) and work across backend and frontend

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 3-15 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods.
• 5+ years of software development with programming languages, technologies, tools, and web architecture knowledge.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Git, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, and API Development.
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions with API implementation.
• Experience solving complex problems in cross-functional teams.
• Broad assignments requiring originality and innovation.
• Ability to develop methodology and present solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create production-ready software and systems from vision to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data engineering solutions.
