Guidehouse is seeking a Data Science Consultant to support DHS missions, delivering end-to-end analytics from data wrangling to BI and predictive analytics. You will work on large datasets, build dashboards with Power BI, and help automate processes while communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of data analytics or data engineering experience. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend opportunities to incorporate advanced analysis and automation into current operations
• Collecting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large datasets using tools such as Python, R, and SQL
• Design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using Power BI
• Identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to support investigative efforts and operational decision-making
• Analyzing existing processes and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization
• Summarizing and presenting results and recommendations through written reports and briefings
• Balance competing priorities including to supporting quick turn and ad hoc requests
