Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced instructor to deliver Government-approved classroom and lab instruction for designated courses supporting classified programs in Virginia. You will maintain course pace, ensure learning objectives, and safeguard assessment integrity while escalating technical issues as needed.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, a relevant degree and years of experience, and the ability to configure virtual hosts and networks with VMware vSphere/vCenter, Moodle, and other tools.

Qualifications

• Deliver Government-approved classroom and lab instruction.
• Provide student support during labs without disclosing answers or test content.
• Execute course preparation and closeout using checklists/runbooks.
• First-line troubleshooting of common student-impacting issues.
• Escalate LMS/platform/infrastructure issues with detailed steps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Government-approved classroom and lab instruction for assigned course(s).
• Provide student support during hands-on labs/exercises.
• Execute course preparation and closeout activities with checklists.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting within instructor permissions.
• Escalate LMS/platform/infrastructure issues with diagnostic detail.
• Review grading outputs for anomalies and report defects or rubric issues.
• Comply with exam/assessment handling requirements and need-to-know controls.
