Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced instructor to deliver government-approved courses and hands-on labs for classified programs, ensuring learning objectives and classroom standards are met. You will prepare, support, and close out courses, troubleshoot student issues, and escalate infrastructure concerns as needed.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, a strong background in cyber/engineering education, and familiarity with virtualization and interactive learning tools to support training scenarios.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical instruction in classroom and lab environments using government-approved content and procedures.
• Familiarity with exam/assessment handling requirements and reporting irregularities per SOP.
• Knowledge of creating and configuring virtual hosts and networks using a VM manager for training scenarios.
• Knowledge of interactive learning module creation using vSphere, vCenter, Moodle, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate.
• Two or more years developing, testing, deploying or maintaining electrical/electronic/software systems related to CNE.
• Administrative knowledge to set up and maintain Unix/Unix-like and Windows servers.
• Familiarity with programming languages (preferably Python, Ruby, shell scripting).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Government-approved classroom and lab instruction for assigned course(s).
• Provide student support during hands-on labs while protecting assessment integrity.
• Execute course preparation and closeout activities using approved checklists and document completion.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting of common student-impacting issues within instructor permissions.
• Escalate LMS/platform/infrastructure issues with detailed diagnostics.
• Review grading outputs for anomalies and report defects or rubric issues.
• Comply with exam handling requirements and report any compromise or irregularities.
