Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to lead full-stack CV workflows for GEOINT data. You will design and deploy CV pipelines, experiment with advanced models, and apply synthetic data and generative AI to government and commercial datasets.

The role requires 5+ years of CV model experience, strong Python and geospatial skills, and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams. Domestic travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly)
• BS in Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, CS, Image Science or related field
• 5+ years developing, testing, and deploying CV models
• Proficiency with Python data stack (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, sklearn)
• Geospatial libraries (GDAL, GeoPandas, Shapely)
• Containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CF)
• Linux environments
• Willingness to travel occasionally to government sites
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven technical writing

Responsibilities

• Experiment with novel CV models on GEOINT data
• Design, develop, and deploy CV pipeline components (preprocessing, inference, data store)
• Explore synthetic data and generative AI for GEOINT data
• Data engineering to support AI/ML workflow
• Stay updated on CV advances from industry and academia; apply to customer problems
• Brief internal teams on progress, results, and challenges
