LMI Government Consulting in Tysons, VA is seeking a Contracts Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to Program Leadership on a high-visibility classified program. You will manage risks, negotiate prime contracts, and ensure mission performance across the full lifecycle.

Candidates must have a BA/BS with 15 years federal contracting experience, deep FAR/DFARS knowledge, strong communication, and a TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of federal contracting experience; additional relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a business partner with a track record of influencing outcomes with senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of all contract types, especially Single Award IDIQs and deep expertise with the FAR/DFARS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to translate complex contract issues for non-contract audiences.
• Self-starter with sound judgment for managing a strategic classified program with minimal supervision.
• TS/SCI clearance is required; eligible for SAP access; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated contracts strategic advisor to Program Leadership across the full lifecycle from pipeline to closeout.
• Review sole source task order RFPs and align performance with process improvements for mission success.
• Lead and negotiate prime contracts, task and delivery orders, and modifications to protect company interests.
• Evaluate task order proposals, monitor contract terms, and identify risks with mitigations in compliance with regulations.
• Advocate for the Classified Program within Contracts to ensure alignment and execution across the portfolio.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers as a reliable point of contact.
