Job summary
Nightwing is seeking a Level 3 Cloud Software Engineer to design, build and optimize cloud-based data processing systems. You will work on information retrieval, MapReduce analytics, and distributed computing across multi-node installations, contributing to mission-critical intelligence projects.
A current TS/SCI with polygraph is required, with extensive experience in cloud data technologies and software engineering.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Twelve (12) years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Two (2) years in programs using Big-Data Cloud technologies or distributed computing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; degree substitution possible with 4 years of cloud experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Information Retrieval and cloud computing for development teams.
- Design, develop and test Cloud Information Retrieval workflows and MapReduce analytics.
- Oversee software tasks, ensure adherence to development processes and test results.
- Recommend new technologies and processes for complex cloud software projects.
- Architect solutions for large-scale cloud data processing and retrieval.
