D2 Technical Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security across Windows and Linux, on-prem and cloud. The role involves deploying and configuring security solutions, evaluating new technologies, and collaborating with government agencies to meet mission goals. A strong emphasis on modernization and secure testing will shape roadmaps and upgrade efforts. This position is client-site Springfield, VA, with competitive compensation.
Qualifications
6+ years of network/cybersecurity engineering experience in large-scale enterprise/global environments.
Proven track record modernizing enterprise cybersecurity systems.
TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph.
Expertise across Windows and Linux server environments.
Strong written and verbal communication for senior management.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain on-premises and cloud cybersecurity infrastructure and applications on Windows and Linux.
Engineer cloud security solutions using EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS.
Develop roadmaps and test plans for secure upgrades and deployments.
Coordinate with government agencies and assessors for security authorizations.
Lead or support security teams and ensure regulatory and DoD alignment.
