Job summary

Evans & Chambers Technology is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity / Information Security Engineer to support cloud-based applications in a highly secure environment. The role requires 6–10 years of cybersecurity experience and an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Candidates should have a strong understanding of NIST frameworks, networking fundamentals, and hands-on Linux experience, and be proficient in scripting languages. This position involves working with a multidisciplinary team and conducting various security assessments.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant ISSE or cybersecurity experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of NIST SP frameworks required.
• Proficient in scripting and programming with Bash, Python.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile meetings and provide updates on tasks.
• Lead security scans; analyze and report findings.
• Develop secure configuration baselines per guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and implement strategies.
• Ensure security throughout the SDLC.
