Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 6+ years of DoD cyber experience, and DoD 8140/8570 certifications.

Location is Springfield, VA on customer site, with a competitive $135k–$145k salary and comprehensive benefits. The engineer will deploy and manage Windows and Linux security solutions, leverage AWS

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical experience in network/cybersecurity engineering and DoD environments.
• Expertise in modern cybersecurity technologies and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure on Windows and Linux.
• Engineer and implement cloud-based security solutions using EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS.
• Develop and maintain capability roadmaps and engineering diagrams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and assessors to support security assessments and authorizations.
• Contribute to tests, documentation, and customer discussions with government agencies.
