Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a System Development Engineer to design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure for a highly available Wickr service platform.

You will contribute to a resilient cloud-based environment for government workloads, with emphasis on automation and continuous improvement. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph eligibility, along with experience building scalable distributed systems and strong scripting or programming skills across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP required.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).
• Experience programming in modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems for a highly-available, resilient platform.
• Own on-call responsibilities (one week in six) and drive root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
