Cleared2Hire is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support government mission environments in Columbia, Maryland. This hands-on role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure, with emphasis on Zero Trust and NIST-aligned security practices.

Ideal candidates will have experience across AWS and/or Azure, strong problem-solving skills, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions for development and production systems.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of relevant infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and NIST security frameworks.
• Experience implementing and monitoring cloud security technologies.
• Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and automating applications and database services in cloud environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and configure cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
• Conduct analysis of alternatives and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Implement Zero Trust architecture aligned with NIST security frameworks.
• Automate application and database service deployments.
• Monitor cloud security technologies and infrastructure performance.
• Integrate security monitoring tools into cloud and hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and secure infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems.
