Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a defense client remotely with travel to Washington DC, Northern VA, Boston, MA and San Antonio, TX. The role requires TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility and a BS in CS/IT or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 10 years of experience can substitute for a degree.
Active TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
5+ years of cloud engineering or related experience preferred.
Experience with cloud service providers, networking concepts, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, test, and evaluate systems supporting cloud implementation and integration with cloud service providers.
Plan and conduct tasks for implementation and maintenance of internal cloud enterprise shared virtualization infrastructure.
Develop and execute cloud solution roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Analyze cloud requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
Consult with engineering staff to support hardware, software, operational and performance requirements of the cloud system.
