Maximus is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a defense client remotely, with travel to Washington DC, Northern VA, Boston, MA and San Antonio, TX as required. Active TS/SCI with SCI eligibility is required.

The role involves research, design, development, testing and deployment of cloud systems and infrastructure across multiple environments. The candidate will lead cloud roadmap development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure security and compliance in cloud operations.

Competenze

• Active TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 10 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• 8 years of work-related experience is required.
• Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT-II certification required.
• Ability to travel 10% - 20%.

• Research, design, develop, run tests, and evaluate systems supporting cloud implementation and integration with cloud service providers.
• Plan and conduct technical tasks for internal cloud enterprise shared virtualization infrastructure.
• Develop and execute cloud solution roadmaps to align with business strategy and objectives.
• Formulate and design systems using scientific analysis and models to predict outcomes.
• Analyze cloud requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Consult with engineering staff to support hardware, software, operational and performance requirements of the cloud system.
