Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) is hiring a Cloud Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph for a Prime contract in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining the customer’s cloud infrastructure, emphasizing IaC, automation, and security.

You will work with AWS services, Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, and CI/CD in a mission-critical government environment, ensuring performance, cost controls, and robust security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10 years total experience permitted with substitution.
• 6+ years in Cloud/DevOps/Software Eng roles.
• AWS - strong practical experience; AWS certs preferred.
• IaC with OpenTofu and/or Terraform.
• Kubernetes deployment and management experience.
• Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Strong Git and modern branching/PR workflows.
• Python scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement IaC using OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Develop automation scripts and playbooks with Ansible.
• Manage containerized apps with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Spearhead CI/CD integration and source control strategy.
• Automate routine tasks with Python scripts.
• Ensure security, monitoring, and incident response in cloud.
• Apply STE/STN security standards to cloud environment.
