Acclaim Technical Services in Annapolis Junction, MD is hiring a Cloud Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph for a Prime contract. You will design, build, and maintain next-generation cloud infrastructure on AWS, champion IaC, and drive automation across development, testing, and production environments.

Responsibilities include designing AWS infrastructure with OpenTofu/Terraform, managing Kubernetes (EKS), automating with Ansible and Python, and ensuring security, performance, and cost

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Cloud Engineering/DevOps/Software Engineering experience.
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer) or relevant cloud cert required.
• Experience with IaC using OpenTofu and/or Terraform.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks with Ansible.
• Scale and manage containerized apps with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Use Git in CI/CD pipelines and collaborate across teams.
• Write Python scripts to automate tasks and integrate systems.
• Apply security best practices and adhere to STE/STN standards.
