Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Systems Engineer to support the DCGS-N program at NMIC in Suitland, MD. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced network systems for Navy intelligence operations, with responsibilities spanning JCA/DEN/DAS architectures, security compliance, and incident response.

The position requires on-site work in Suitland, MD, with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems with 6+ years of related experience.
• U.S. Citizen with active DoW Top Secret clearance and TS/SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8140 IAT-II compliance (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).
• DISA STIG compliance experience.
• Experience with remote monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Comfortable onsite in a large computer room environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, recommend, implement, and document JCA/DEN/DAS network architecture.
• Maintain DISA STIG compliance and security controls.
• Ensure system readiness to meet customer mission requirements.
• Provide expert root-cause analysis for network/system failures.
• Conduct patch testing, installation, and information assurance scans.
