Job summary

Laurel, MD-based Software Engineer (Level 2/3) role focuses on developing and enhancing compliance analytics and enterprise processing systems. You will design automated tools, prototype ML components, and integrate with corporate platforms in a secure environment.

Responsibilities include building ML models, data pipelines, EDA, and feature engineering while collaborating with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, and Bitbucket. Strong Linux, Python, Java, and Scala skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 14+ years of software engineering on similar scope OR 18 years without a degree.
• Advanced development in Python, Java, or Scala on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and maintain compliance automation tools and analytics.
• Implement and validate machine learning algorithms in an R&D environment.
• Conduct EDA and feature engineering on complex datasets.
• Build ML models, data flows, and monitoring for deployed pipelines.
• Integrate MapReduce workflows with backend data pipelines.
• Develop full-stack and analytical software using Python, Java, Scala, Lucene, JEXL, SQL, JSON.
• Collaborate with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, and Bitbucket; document and peer review.
