Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Machine Learning Engineer (TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph) to advance compliance analytics in Laurel, MD.

You will design automated tools, prototype ML features, and deploy data-driven pipelines within an R&D setting. Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala, Scikit-learn, MapReduce, Lucene/JEXL/SQL/JSON on Linux is required; collaboration via Jira/Confluence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 14+ years of software engineering with degree, OR 18+ years without degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.
• Advanced Python/Java/Scala development in Linux.
• Experience with Scikit-learn, ML pipelines, feature engineering, and MapReduce.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab/Bitbucket; Lucene/JEXL/SQL/JSON tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and maintain compliance automation tools and analytics.
• Implement and validate ML/AI algorithms in an R&D environment.
• Build, deploy, and monitor ML models and data workflows.
• Integrate distributed MapReduce workflows with backend pipelines.
• Develop full-stack/analytical software using Python, Java or Scala, Lucene, JEXL, SQL, JSON on Linux.
• Collaborate with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab/Bitbucket; document and review code.
