Sunayu, LLC in Bethesda, MD is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Software Engineer to support a long-term DIA-NDOC DOMEX contract. You will design, develop, and maintain Python microservices, deploy in Kubernetes, and work with Kafka and Elasticsearch for real-time data processing.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, observable, and scalable systems in a mission-focused environment. Some remote work may be possible depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
• Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience in ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Linux environment experience including bash scripting.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Hands-on with Git and modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD, GitLab/Jenkins).
• Excellent communication skills and AGILE experience.
• Team player with self-starting mindset.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python microservices.
• Implement Kafka message consumers and producers.
• Integrate with Elasticsearch for real-time and batch data indexing/search.
• Write unit and integration tests with high coverage.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy in Kubernetes clusters.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture planning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues with observability tools.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Apply software engineering methodologies for development, integration, and production.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver quality service.
