Job summary

CAC I International Inc. in Chantilly, VA is seeking a PeopleSoft HRMS Application Developer to modernize federal HR systems and deliver enterprise-grade PeopleTools solutions.

You will drive design, development, and deployment across the PeopleSoft lifecycle while aligning with business requirements and security clearances. This role requires five years of experience in information systems projects, hands-on PeopleTools development, and a TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer-related field.
• Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Five (5) years of experience in information systems implementation, change management efforts or application process redesign
• Three (3) years of technical development experience with PeopleSoft HRMS ERP including recent experience with PeopleSoft 9.x
• Five (5) years’ experience in developing, prototyping, and testing solutions for information systems implementation
• Two (2) years of experience with ORACLE and SQL commands
• Technical development experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology
• Work onsite in Chantilly, VA
• Current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
• Experience applying broad management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to lead information systems projects
• Experience providing subject matter expertise in industry, process, or technology areas.
• Experience with design and process documentation
• Experience with unit testing IT applications

Responsibilities

• Drive technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover, and implementation covering all technical aspects of the PeopleSoft implementation lifecycle
• Provide hands-on technical solutions to business challenges & translates them into process/technical solutions
• Provide technical development, utilizing PeopleTools, and system design skills.
• Work with the Requirements Analysts to understand user stories and deliver feature/capabilities each sprint
• Analyze the impacts of vendor-provided updates and upgrades to the system;
• Work with Product Owner and Requirements Analyst to suggest novel approaches to problems to minimize customizations of the product.
• Provide production support by analyzing, designing, programming, and testing solutions to complex production problems.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases.
• Correct data in critical situations.
